TIGERS GET OFF TO RIP-ROARING START ON OPENING DAY: bonderman allows 1 run in 7 innings and dmitri young becomes only the third player in major league history to belt 3 homers on opening day as the tigers stampede (that metaphor would work much better if they were called the 'buffalos') to an 11-2 victory.
